The shrink tunnel serves to shrink PE foil which is pulled over material to be packed. Foil is fixed to a product to be packed using a combination of transverse and longitudinal welds. One shrinking cycle time ranges from 15 to 20 seconds (the time difference depends on the size of material to be packed and the type of PE foil). Units to be packed are conveyed into the tunnel automatically.
