The hand impulse welding machine (hereinafter referred to as the RIS) is used for closing bags made of PE foil. The RIS is equipped with a height adjustable table which serves as the working area for the operator. The movement itself of the welding bars is realized using two pneumatic cylinders. The operator puts manually a bag between the welding bars and starts the welding cycle itself by the SA4 foot control. The welding bars clamp first and the welding process itself starts. The welding time can be set on the control display. The welding process is indicated by the lit H2 indicator which is placed on the control panel. After the end of the welding time the weld cooling time begins. This is actually the time for which the bars remain clamped after the end of the welding process itself. The cooling time can be set on the control display.
