The packing line is used to shrink PE foil which is pulled over material to be packed. Foil is fixed to a product to be packed using a combination of transverse and longitudinal welds. A transverse weld is actually a combination of two transverse welds, between which the foil is separated by burning and a longitudinal weld is performed as continuous – using a rotary welding head. Packed units are conveyed into the tunnel automatically.
