AVP-ROLO Automatic bag manufacturing equipment

The equipment is used for the manufacture and coreless winding of ROLO bags. Starting material is a role of a PI or MI sleeve which is placed on an unwinding shaft in the magazine. This role is fitted with a mechanical brake by means of which constant resistance of the foil being processed is achieved.

Foil is fed into the welding bar working area using feed rollers, which are interconnected with an auxiliary feed roller by means of an indented belt. Welding and perforating are performed continuously using a workstation. This station contains a welding bar with a perforating knife and two independent controlled pressure bars, which are designed to fix the foil during a welding and perforating cycle and which ensure separating the foil from the welding bar after the end of welding. The movement of the workstation is realized using a servo drive.

After the movable workstation, foil is accumulated again in the accumulation magazine the purpose of which is to hold foil which is produced by the continuous welding technology during stops of the feed rollers which take foil from the accumulation magazine and feed it into the coreless winding area. The feed rollers stop at the moment when the output roll contains the desired quantity of bags and it is therefore necessary to separate this roll and begin to make another roll.
